Motor vessel "Tiree" broke down near Dalkey Island and anchored close to lee shore. ALB did well
in recovering from that position, effecting a tow and bringing to the inner harbour at Dun
Laoghaire

Launched following report of small boat on rocks near Bulloch with four aboard. No assistance
proved necessary, the persons made their own way over the rocks to safety and recovered their
craft later that day. ILB recalled.

Person caught on sandbank near Sandymount on flood tide. Located by ILB before the critical height
was reached and brought to safety of lifeboat station none the worse for the ideal. Lucky man.

drifting onto rocks. Located and towed to Dun Laoghaire Marina

Launched to assist fire brigade and ambulance personnel in recovering an injured man who fell on
rocks at the foot of the back of the west pier Dun Laoghaire. Casualty removed by ambulance
personnel to care of hospital. ILB recalled

Gardai requested assistance at Irishtown. Search of the area with
Rescue Heli 116 found nothing. Recalled. Subsequently established that it was a mannekin that had
been seen.
